You must have a Temporary Instructors Permit (TIP) from DMV before signing up or attending this class. This class is for students seventeen and older. A six-hour pre-licensing class followed by the DMV Computerized written exam, all completed in one day. Following the six-hour class, you are required to complete the eight hours behind the wheel, consisting of four two hour behind the wheel sessions, completed on four separate days.
